In-Game Intel & Matchups — Competitive Advantage from the Dugout
In-Game Intel & Matchups
Rizzler's in-game intel gives competitive travel coaches and clubs real-time matchup data during live games. See batter tendencies, pitcher-batter history from previous matchups, and situational recommendations — all from your phone in the dugout. This is the tool that turns your stats into a competitive edge while the game is happening.

What Is In-Game Intel?
When a batter steps into the box, what do you know about him? If you've played this team before and scored the game in Rizzler, you know his tendencies: does he chase pitches high and inside? Does he pull everything? Did he go 0-for-3 with two strikeouts against your lefty last month?
In-game intel surfaces that information automatically. When it's time to face a familiar opponent, Rizzler pulls up historical matchup data and presents it in a quick-glance format. Instead of relying on memory or pregame notes, you get data-backed matchup cards for every batter in the opposing lineup.
How In-Game Intel Works
Step 1: Build your data set. Score games in Rizzler using in-game scoring. The more games you score — especially against teams you'll face again — the more intel Rizzler collects.
Step 2: Pre-game opponent review. Before a game, Rizzler shows you the opposing lineup with historical data from previous matchups. See each batter's line against your pitchers.
Step 3: In-game matchup cards. During the game, as each batter comes up, Rizzler displays their tendencies: hot zones, cold zones, pitch type vulnerability, and previous results against your current pitcher.
Step 4: Situational recommendations. Rizzler's AI stats analysis suggests pitching approach adjustments based on the matchup data — e.g., "This batter is 0-for-6 against changeups below the zone in 3 previous games."

In-Game Intel for Travel Clubs
Your 14U team plays the same six clubs in your region throughout the summer. By the third tournament, you've scored 4-5 games against each one in Rizzler. That's 40-50 at-bats of data per opposing player.
Now your coaches have real information. "Their cleanup hitter is 1-for-8 against righties with a curveball — he chases low and away." That kind of intel is the difference between guessing and coaching.
Club directors can standardize this across the organization. When your 12U team moves up to 13U, the intel data goes with them. Player development and opponent knowledge compound over time. Learn more about Rizzler for travel clubs.
In-Game Intel for Tournament Weekends
In a tournament with a double-elimination bracket, you might face the same team twice. If you scored the first game in Rizzler, every at-bat is cataloged. By the rematch, you know which batters hurt you and how your pitchers performed. Adjust your game plan accordingly.
Pair in-game intel with tournament planning for a complete tournament strategy — pitcher management and opponent scouting in one tool.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to score every game to use in-game intel?
Intel gets better with more data, but even 1-2 previously scored games against an opponent gives you useful information. For the best experience, score every game in Rizzler or import stats from GameChanger.
Can I add scouting notes manually?
Yes. In addition to automatic stat-based intel, you can add text notes on any opposing player. These notes persist across games and seasons.
Is in-game intel available for Little League?
In-game intel is available on the League & Club plan only. It's designed for competitive travel and club teams that face the same opponents repeatedly. LL coaches can use AI stats analysis on the Pro plan for their own team's data.
Does in-game intel work for softball?
Yes. The matchup data works the same way for softball — batter tendencies, pitcher-batter history, and situational recommendations.
In-game intel is exclusive to the League & Club plan ($799/year). Compare plans or request a demo.
