What the AI Actually Does

This isn't a random number generator. Here's what Rizzler considers when building a batting order:

Player stats. Batting average, on-base percentage, slugging, strikeout rate, walk rate, and more. If you've imported stats from GameChanger or scored games in Rizzler, the AI has real data to work with — not guesses.

Batting position logic. Leadoff hitters should get on base. Three-hole hitters should drive runners in. Nine-hole hitters in Little League's continuous batting order aren't afterthoughts — they're a second leadoff spot. The AI understands these roles and assigns players accordingly.

What You Need for the AI to Work Well

If you have no stats at all — start of season, brand new team — the AI falls back on position preferences and playing time balance. It still produces a reasonable lineup, but it gets significantly smarter once it has real data.
