FAQ
Are My Team's Stats Private?
Yes. Your team's stats, game plans, lineups, and player data are private to your coaching staff. No one outside your team can see your coaching data: not opposing coaches, not other teams in your league, and not other Rizzler users. The only people with access are the coaches you've invited to your team.
What's Private
Everything you enter into Rizzler is private to your team by default:
- Game plans and lineups
- Batting, pitching, and fielding stats
- Pitch count records and rest day calculations
- Player evaluations and survey responses
- Playing time records
- Tournament plans
- Roster details (names, numbers, contacts)
What About Organizations?
If your team is part of a league or club using the Club plan, your organization's administrators can see aggregated data through the organization dashboard: things like pitch count compliance, playing time distribution, and rule compliance flags. This is by design: league boards need visibility to enforce rules and ensure fairness.
Administrators see team-level summaries. They don't see your game plans, lineup strategy, or individual player evaluation notes.
What About Parents?
Parents and players do have their own app access, but it doesn't open up your coaching data. Through the parent app, parents can see the team schedule and set availability or RSVP for games and practices. Older players can respond themselves through the player app, Rizzler Reps, or on the web.
Stats visibility stays coach-controlled. Parents don't automatically see stats, game plans, lineups, or evaluation notes. If you want to share progress with families, player skill reports (available on the Pro and Club plans) let you share structured progress reports with parents and players. Sharing is always initiated by the coach.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can opposing coaches see my lineup before a game?
No. Your game plans and lineups are visible only to coaches on your team.
Can my league president see my individual game plans?
No. The organization dashboard shows compliance data (pitch counts, playing time) but not strategic data (lineups, game plans, evaluation notes).
What if I leave a team? Can I still see the data?
If you're removed from a team, you lose access to that team's data. The data stays with the team, not the individual coach.
Is player data shared with third parties?
No. Rizzler Sports does not sell or share player data with third parties. See the data security FAQ for more details.
Your coaching data stays yours, private from day one.
