Little League Field Dimensions
Official Little League field dimensions vary by division. The standard field for Majors and below uses 60-foot basepaths and a 46-foot pitching distance. As players move to Intermediate (50/70), Juniors, and Seniors, the field dimensions increase toward regulation (90-foot basepaths, 60-foot 6-inch pitching distance).

Why Field Dimensions Matter for Coaches
Field dimensions affect game strategy. On a 60-foot diamond with 46-foot pitching distance, a grounder up the middle reaches the outfield grass in under 2 seconds. On a 90-foot diamond, that same grounder covers more territory and a shortstop has more range. Your fielding rotations and game plans should account for the field your players are actually playing on.
